Learning to discover

The preparatory year is before all else a year of exploration and learning. The aim is to learn to look and interpret one’s own perception.

The idea behind this first year is to observe, look, build, become aware of image process, experiment, get to know and research. The year is also structured so as to include theory lessons.

The objective of this first stage is to develop at the same time the sharpness of the students’ intellect and their free spirit. During this year, the students are also introduced to the major currents shaping esthetic and artistic movements.
