Preparing the project

It consists of a research project chosen by the student, in keeping with his or her interests and centered on an actual site. The project starts at the beginning of the year It includes a survey of the premises, photographic and sociological studies, historical analyses, researching visual constraints. The different stages of the project’s theoretical and practical progress run through the whole of the 5th year, according to a contract agreed with the teachers.

After the project’s progress has been checked, the student receives the agreement of a commission, which allows him/her to present his/her project to a jury panel of professionals made up of people from the worlds of design and interior design, artists, journalists and representatives of various institutions.

ACCESS-MAID (Magister Architecture Intérieure / Design, Master in Design and Interior Design) is recorded in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (National Index of Trade Certification) Level II - code NSF 233 n. The Académie Charpentier is a recognised CFAI (Conseil Français des Architectes d’Intérieur, French Counsel of Interior Designers) school. Web link : http://www.cfai.fr/
